He's my favorite author! I've got Narnia and LotR lined up next to the KS and KoA on my favorite book shelf!

Well, Lewis also has lots of other great works besides Narnia, so he can't really be fairly compared with Mr. Black. Narnia and the KS or KoA can be compared, but Lewis was also a theologian.

In fact, overall (As far as authors go) My favourite authors are First, Chuck Black, Second, J.R.R. Tolkien, Third, Frank Peretti, Fourth, Paul McCusker, Last, C.S.Lewis.

You also have to remember that it's hard to compare books that are both really great books, but are different. Lewis had different ideas (like the children coming into Narnia) than Mr. Black did (just having the story of Christ set in another time, and another world). They are both wonderful authors, but it would be hard to say who is better...
