Okay guys, you can discuss the Magician's Nephew here, or make your own thread. I have not yet completed the book , but will be working at it today.

I like a lot of parts but one of my favorites would have to be when the animals deal with Uncle Andrew aka "Brandy".

Personally, The Magician's Nephew is one of my favorites in the Chronicles. I don't think I have a favorite character, but if I had to choose one it would be Aslan or Diggory. The animals are all funny though! My favorite parts are probably when Jadis attempts to take over London and the scenes which discuss Uncle Andrew's encounters with the animals.
I find it interesting that the character of Digory has so many parallels to Lewis himself. Both Digory and Lewis were children in the early 1900s, both wanted a pony, and both faced the death of their mothers while they were young (unfortunately Lewis's mother did die). Also, when Digory grows up he becomes a professor and takes in evacuated children during WWII like Lewis did.

Favorite character.....well, honestly, The Magician's Nephew is one of my least favorite books in the series. So, with that in mind, I'm not sure who my favorite character is. I like the cabbyman....Harold, I think his name was. And Aslan, and Fledge.
I never knew that, Luthien!! Thanks for pointing that out.
