I'm going to go ahead and post a discussion thread, as this next week will be busy for me and my family, and I'm not sure if I'll have time to post on the 11th.
Here are a few questions to help the discussion along:
Who was your favorite character? Who was your least favorite character? What was your favorite part? Were you happy with the way C.S. Lewis ended The Chronicles of Narnia?
My favorite character would have to be either Puzzle or Jewell. I just can't help bu love all equines. Shift was probably my least favorite character. I think the part where everyone meets everyone again, in the real Narnia, is probably my most favorite part out of all the book.
I'll try and post more later, but this is all for now.

I haven't read this book in a while, but I think my favorite part is the ending, when they explore the Real Narnia.

Well, I'm not sure about my favorite part I know my LEAST favorite part was when all those Narnian horses were killed by those dwarves! It was horrible! I almost cried the first time I read it . Favorite character? Well...I really like Puzzle and Jewel. Jewel is so noble and Puzzle is so...innocently ignorant.
What do you all think about the young man who served Tash but then got into Aslan's country because he was really serving Aslan?

I thought that part was really interesting. I never could quite figure out. I think, perhaps, that maybe Emeth did good things for Tash, and followed him so faithfully that he didn't realize it, but Emeth was serving Aslan. I don't know...that's just my tw cent's worth.

The horse scene was the most tragic one for me too! It was really unexpectedly moving to me! (Of course, I'm used to hearing it on the audio book and with the music and sound they can made it sound really sad.)
My favorite scenes are when the Seven Friends of Narnia meet up with Tirian and explain what happened to them, and the scenes with Emeth. "I liked him." His part was a little confusing for me too, though. I think perhaps because the teaching he received about Tash was mixed up (he thought Tash was the good and loving one and Aslan was the demon), he thought he was serving Tash when he was really serving Aslan. Like he knew and served Aslan but knew and served him by the name Tash.
As for favorite characters...come on, you know it's coming...Jewel and Puzzle. Actually though, I like the cat better than Puzzle. He was interesting to read about, so sly and cool. I certainly like him as a villian much more than Shift! I like Emeth too but he's not in it much.
